Many marketers have avoided implementing article marketing into their promotional strategy despite it’s effectiveness. For years, I’ve heard people give the same excuses for not writing articles. Lets take a look at two of the most common excuses for not writing articles.

They excuse : “I don’t think I can write a good article”

So? If you’ve never written an article, then you probably can’t! No one is good at anything in the beginning. We get better at most anything after we’ve done it for a while. Although it took me a while to learn how to play guitar, the years of practice have paid off in so many ways.

An internet marketer who neglects to use article marketing in his or her promotional strategy could be leaving hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the table every month! Remember the old saying, “practice makes perfect”? This is certainly true with article writing as well.

Perfectionists (myself included) are notorious for using the excuse above. They don’t believe in their ability to perform certain tasks, so they never get around to doing anything. What’s the result? You guessed it – that debilitating evil monster called procrastination.

If you are a prisoner to procrastination, there is only one solution. It’s not very profound, but powerful just the same. Just stop thinking and start doing. If you already know that something is the right course of action, just do it. If we put something off too long, we eventually talk ourselves into doing nothing.

Writing articles is like anything else. The challenges and hurdles in your mind will usually outweigh reality and like I stated earlier, the more you do something, the better you become.

Ok, I guess I went off on a tangent, but if you struggle with procrastination like I do, hopefully this advice transcends beyond article writing into other areas of your life.

Its too time consuming ?

Alright, I admit that writing articles can be a bit time-consuming, however the advice I gave earlier is true here as well. After you’ve written a few articles, you’ll not only become more proficient at writing, but will also learn how to write them faster.
